Shanghai's F&B-centric events agency Social Supply is back with a new project called Cocktail Cinema. Each month, film (and cocktail) enthusiasts can sink into an immersive experience centred on classic movies, great drinks and cool spaces. Expect unique cocktails concoctions reflecting the featured film, created by Shanghai's most prolific bartenders in a new location every month.
Next Wednesday 29, the first Cocktail Cinema will feature Mary Hannon's infamous horror film American Psycho. Based on the Bret Easton Ellis' controversial novel with the same title, the film features Christian Bale as the manic and mysterious Patrick Bateman, whose character represents 'the incarnation of the 1980s yuppie greed — rich, shallow, and addicted to sex, drugs, and conspicuous consuming'.

This month, sip on American Psycho-inspired custom cocktails prepared by Logan Brouse of Logan's Punch as you get lost in the film. (Don't be surprised if the drinks get wacky; this is the same Logan who made a 'Shanghai Fog' last April 1.) Tickets are 180RMB per person and include three drinks. Seating is very limited. For those of you who snag a spot, location will be released closer to the date.
