In news that will perhaps come as no surprise if you've looked outside your windows this morning, Bon App!'s outdoor two-day food and drink fest has been cancelled this weekend – and postponed to next weekend if all goes as the team hopes – due to bad weather.
While not yet confirmed, the team are planning to reschedule the event for Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 June – which means one more week to warm up for the annual hot dog eating contest.
Here's the note from the organisers:
Dear friends:
We are so sorry to report that this weekend’s Foodies Unite event has been postponed due to a last minute cancellation based on weather report for storms on the weekend. We are doing our best to reschedule the event for next weekend, June 17 and 18. If you are not able to attend next weekend, we will offer you a full refund. Please inform us through support@bonapp.cn and we plead for your patience as we go through each of your requests! We are so sorry about this, it was a decision completely out of our control. We love you, our amazing Bon App community and we will keep you informed as soon as we have an update!
