China's biggest secondhand store Pawnstar is having a two-day pop-up event on the third floor of Lost Heaven on Julu Lu. It'll be bringing designer fashions from major to more independent brands, unique upcycled pieces, and vintage. In collaboration with Time Out Shanghai, Pawnstar is offering 100RMB vouchers for five lucky vintage lovers to use at this weekend's pop-up store.
Pawnstar's effortlessly cool first location is set in The Clement Apartments, a French rustic style apartment complex. It hopes to encourage the acceptance of secondhand clothing and habits related to re-use, upcycling and sustainability through its activities in China. Brands include vintage Chanel jewellery, Alexander Wang and Givenchy dresses, Louboutin and Nicholas Kirkwood stilettos. There is also a collection of men's ties and other menswear.
