From household goods to clothing, Japanese lifestyle brand MUJI is a (slightly pricey) one-stop shop to fulfil all your household needs, and now it's taking things up a notch with a diner in its Shanghai flagship store. Taking the place of the old self-service cafeteria (Café & Meal MUJI), MUJI Diner is a full service restaurant serving a globe-trotting à la carte menu and a decent variety of alcoholic beverages to boot.

Broadening its horizons from the usual minimalist MUJI-ness, the diner has ten types of wines on offer and an eclectic mix of speciality dishes from a (perhaps worryingly) wide range of cuisines, including Sichuan, Xinjiang, Mexican, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and many more.

Selling itself as more than just a diner, MUJI Diner will also be a space for food related lectures and events.
