
A Taste of Canada – Surf and Turf Summer Carnival
In partnership with the Consulate General of Canada, the Canadian Beef International Institute and qualified Canadian seafood companies, the Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai launched it's very first Canadian food promotion this summer. Menus from our Shintaro Japanese restaurant and Steak House restaurant present selective premium surf and turf dishes to all diners.
Canada is well recognized as one of the best places for producing beef thanks to its fresh air, clean water, cold weather and natural environment. Canada is famous for its grain fed beef that is flavored and tender.
Executive Chef Edward Mair has prepared a special a la carte menu with the three most popular beef steaks, namely tenderloin, sirloin and ribeye. Meanwhile, set menus priced at RMB 198* (2-course) and RMB 258* (3-course) are also available.

Not limited to the Steak House, Shintaro is also part of the carnival from July to September. Mixed with Japanese elements, Shintaro is offering Fanny Bay oysters and Canadian lobsters. Bred in a relatively warmer sea area, Fanny Bay oysters have a mild taste. As well as oysters, Canadian lobsters are extremely popular. Grilled with cheese and garlic, the nice teppanyaki smell evokes a mouth-watering response.
