After the success of our private screening of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 a couple of weeks ago, this Friday 26 May Time Out Shanghai and 247tickets are teaming up again to present another exclusive cinema screening. This time we're featuring Captain Jack Sparrow's latest escapades in the fifth (!) and final installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
With Captain Salazar's escape from the Devil's Triangle, Captain Jack Sparrow finds himself seeking the Trident of Poseidon in an attempt to change his ill fate. You may not think you need more Jack Sparrow in your life, but this final chapter of the seafaring franchise has been dubbed a pleasant surprise by critics, with particular praise for Javier Bardem's performance as the terrifying antagonist Captain Salazar.
The evening starts at 6.30pm with a free welcome drink and happy hour (buy one get one free) at Avenue Bar and Restaurant. There's also a lucly draw with some snazzy prizes, including a 500RMB voucher for a Travelers Society trip, free cinema tickets and concert tickets by 247cinema, 200RMB gift cards for Epermarket and more. The screening at the art deco SFC Hengshan cinema starts at 9.15pm including a complimentary drink and popcorn.
