China's digital payment market is worth 5.5 trillion USD, and Apple is determined to have a slice of that juicy pie. In an attempt to win over Chinese consumers, the iPhone maker has unveiled their new Apple Pay promotional campaign - the largest since their launch in February last year.


According to Apple's official Chinese website, users will can get discounts of up to 50 percent off on purchases and receive up to 50 times the usual reward points for designated credit cards at 28 major retail outlets and 16 online stores. It's a mixed bag of brands, including the likes of Starbucks, Burger King, 7 Eleven, Pizza Hut, Costa Coffee, GAP and Watsons. Internet merchants such as Ctrip, Mobike and JD.com are also giving discounts.


However, like all good things, these Apple Pay promotions are subject to various terms and conditions. So, for example, Burger King and Costa Coffee have capped their 50 percent discounts at 15RMB. Meanwhile, Pizza Hut only allows stores in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen to participate in their 80RMB rebate on a single receipt of 180RMB.


You'll have to act fast: the campaign is short and sweet and will be ending on Monday July 24.
