No more scrambling around to find your credit card and racing against the clock to avoid the page timing out when you want to book a flight: the Ctrip app is now allowing customers to pay for bookings using WeChat Pay.
Simply select WeChat pay when you reach the payment page and that's pretty much it. You simply enter your payment password like you would with any other WeChat transaction and wait for immediate confirmation. The payee will be 携程, which is Ctrip in Chinese.
The WeChat Pay option is available on version 5.1 and above of the Ctrip app and can even be used to book accommodation and transport in countries where WeChat isn't accepted. Niceeeee.
