Golden Week's gonna be busy, we all know that. Heaps of travellers are expected to descend upon the city – and not just to try the KFC mooncakes... So, in both welcome and sensible fashion, Shanghai Metro has extended its operating hours on three lines.
Between Sunday 1 and Tuesday 3, Lines 1 and 8 will be extended by 80 minutes, while Line 2 will be extended by 70 minutes.
Also from Sunday 1 to Wednesday 4, passengers won't be able to get on and off Line 2 and 10 services at Nanjing Dong Lu from 4pm. The trains will still run, but will just skip the stop.
