Live storytelling series Unravel has been a hit with the Shanghai community since it kicked off back in February. A little like New-York based event and podcast The Moth, each month the team present a themed evening of stories told by Shanghai residents.
This month, Unravel joins forces with the team behind the TOP 5 Pop Culture Poster Show for the exhibition launch night this Thursday (July 27) with food, drinks, art and stories at Xin Cafe.

A community art event celebrating pop culture, the TOP 5 Pop Culture Poster Show features a series of five posters made by artists from different disciplines, created using a palette of only five colours and based on their top five favourite movies, television series, books, comics or music.
For the exhibition launch, limited edition posters will be on display and on sale, while Unravel storytellers will share their personal, unscripted stories expanding on the theme 'When I Grow Up'. Entrance is free and you can expect bites from BYFO, ice cream from Gracie's and brews from Tippler, Peddler's Gin Co, Craft Republic and Capi.
If you miss the party, which you shouldn't, drop by Xin Cafe any time from Thursday till Aug 31 to catch the exhibition.
