There are few things Beijing has but Shanghai doesn’t (forget about that wall), and on Friday there’ll be even fewer: Moka Bros is coming down south.
All the hype surrounding the Beijing funkfest and eatery is finally kicking to a crescendo this Friday as restaurateurs Daniel Urdaneta and Alex Molina bring their skills, knowledge and excellent culinary hands to their new location in the K.Wah Centre on Xiangyang Bei Lu.
The vibe is 'eating well and feeling good', and if you’re thinking 'snore, click away, and order me a pizza' then hold right there: there's liquor too. This is eating well with the fun put back in: one part lazy breakfasts, 200/m of Latin-inspired terrace, two parts free-flow brunches on weekends, a fusion of global flavours and a heap (that’s the scientific term) of events from South American areperías (street food vendors) to intense workout sessions.
Moka Bros Shanghai will be open daily from 7am-10.30pm for for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, happy hour, dinner and late drinks.
