While She Sleeps

Having last visited in 2015, English metalcore outfit While She Sleeps return to Shanghai with a show at MAO Livehouse. They're undertaking an extensive China and Asia tour to promote new album You Are We.

Tarra Conner Jones

Having drawn comparisons to the likes of Dinah Washington, Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan, and knocked audiences off their feet with her varied repertoire of jazz and soul classics over the past few months, Florida native Tarra Conner Jones is performing her final shows in Shanghai this week before she flies out to return to the stage in the US of A.

Project:Impair

Inspired by traditional Korean music and the blues, Seoul duo Project:Impair return to Shanghai for a series of shows this weekend. First up: this one at Chair Club.

Call of the Newborn

Cathay, Prajna Seashore, OVE and Death Teach Me Life come together at Inferno for a night of metalcore, folk metal and more.

Friday Rock

Reunion Festival

A collection of local acts - including Fighting Back, Beat Generation 1980s and Nerve Passenger - join forces for an afternoon of rock, metal and more.
