IT WASN’T IN VAIN - JESUS LIVES AND RELIEVES
“And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: ...And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.”

The resurrection of Jesus changed everything!
Our preaching is not in vain. Our faith is not in vain. Our testimony is true. Our sins are forgiven. Those who have gone before us have not perished. We are not miserable. What a relief!
His death, has given us life. His resurrection and ascension has proven His power, His words and His claims. The Son of God is indeed God the Son.
The horrible death of Jesus had affected his disciples. They were discouraged and dejected. But, when they met the resurrected Christ. Their hopes and spirits were resurrected as well. Their resolve was solid. And for the rest of their lives, they were sustained by this experience and they lived and died to share the same with others.
As we celebrate Easter, May we come ready to encounter that resurrection power in our lives. And like the early disciples, may the resurrection experience change everything for us and set us on course as world changers and history makers. Come expecting your miracle!
