VICTORY THROUGH JESUS
1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV)
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Do you feel bombarded on all side by the onslaught of the enemy? Do you feel that you are in the middle of an unending battle and it seems as if there is no light at the end of the tunnel? In fact,this is the darkest night in your life. Perhaps, you are not experiencing that, but you know someone related to you who is experiencing that.
I have good news for you. God wants to give you victory. Yes! That’s true. He wants to give us victory. That victory is only found in Jesus who “having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross” as stated in Colossians 2:15.
What should be our response? Our response should be that of thanksgiving. We can declare ‘Thanks be to God’ as Paul declared in our text. As you thank Him for the victory, may that victory be made manifest in your life.
Come this Sunday and let us experience together the victory that we have through Jesus.
