DREAM FULFILLED
Proverbs 13:12 (NLT)
12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.
Have you ever hoped for a dream to be fulfilled but it delayed for so long that you begin to feel sick in your heart? You begin to be bitter, resentful, discouraged, give up, and so on. Perhaps you had one of these dreams: you had dreams of getting married at 25 years but now you have passed 35 years old or in your 40s that you are beginning to question God; you had dreams of having a good job now in your life but you are still struggling to eat; you had dreams of graduating from the university but up till now you haven’t even enrolled in any; you had dreams of running your businesses that are successful but you are still struggling to make ends meet; you had dreams of changing your community through Godly leadership but there is no way for you to enter the political class; you had dreams of family members getting saved but it seems nothing is changing. The list can be endless. Do you feel that your dreams are been dragged away from you? It seems like whenever you are almost there and boom, it is gone? Imagine, Joseph who had a dream to rule, after suffering from his brothers when they sold him, suffering in the hands of the slave traders, then eventually he was doing well in the house of Potiphar and boom he was in prison. What just happened? God, I have been faithful. Why is this happening to me? Whenever, you take one step forward, you see yourself taking two steps backward. Whenever hope is deferred, it can feel sickening and you can feel the pain in your stomach. It is of no use to question God, rather understand that God in His sovereignty and providence will make all things work together for your own good. He is an expert in turning a misery into a ministry. I pray that God will fulfill your dreams as you continue to walk with Him. God is seated on His throne and He will bring fulfillment in Christ Jesus to you. Don’t despair! Don’t throw in the towel! Remember “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5). I see you emerging from your circumstances and celebrating the victory from Jesus. I pray that every disappointment in your life will turn into His appointment for you. I pray that God will give you a testimony in Jesus name.

Men’s Breakfast

Join us this month for our Men’s Breakfast as we will be looking at a topic that has been discussed quite a bit in churches. The Topic is on Spiritual Gifts and the Body of Christ. We will be looking at both what the Old Testament says about Spiritual Gifts and what the New Testament says about Spiritual Gifts and how we as men can use them for greater impact in building God’s Kingdom. Our speaker for this month's Breakfast will be Aaron Clifford.
So come with a heart hungry to hear what God has to say to you. Also come with a stomach the will be hungry for some excellent food.

Mission Trip to Kenya/Uganda in July 2018.
This year AOM will be doing another missions trip. This time, we will be going to both Kenya and Uganda. Last year there were many testimonies of how God used our team in bringing people to the Lord and doing notable miracles. Lives were changed both in the people they visited and in the lives of the team members that went. This year's missions trip will certainly be another life altering trip.
