HARDWORK: The Key to Success
Prov.10:4, NLT.
Lazy people are soon poor;
hard workers get rich.
Some people think that work is a punishment from God because of the fall of Man, but before the fall , the first assignment God gave to Man was to work and take care of the garden. Gen.2:15.
Work is a blessing from God, and not a punishment. We work because we are made in the Image of God, we immitate God when we work, God put us here to work.
Work is one of the avenues through which we receive God's blessings, For God blesses the works of our hands. Jn.5:17, But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”
Jn.9:4, I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.
Jesus didn't say, I may work, or I wish to work, but I MUST work, showing that work is a must to everyone. God doesn't want us to overwork without rest, but He doesn't like laziness. Laziness is destructive, it irritates, it leads to poverty.
We must say like our Master Jesus....."Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. Jn.4:34.
God want us to work hard.
