EXPERIENCING GOD’S PROTECTION AND DELIVERANCE
“Now about that time Herod the king put forth his hands to afflict certain of the church.
And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a truth, that the Lord hath sent forth his angel and delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.”
Acts 12:1, 11 ASV
Herod afflicted the church. He killed James. When he saw it pleased the Jews, he went after Peter. But the church wouldn’t take any of that anymore. They said “enough is enough”. Fervent and persistent prayer was made. God heard and answered. An Angel was dispatched with a mission to protect and to deliver Peter. The testimony was too good to be true.
God is our Protector and our Deliverer. He wants to give us “too good to be true” kind of testimonies. Affliction is not our portion. Even where the enemy thinks he got us cornered, God has a way out.
This coming Sunday we are standing together in prayer for divine protection and miraculous deliverances from any kind of affliction from the enemy. Don’t miss it for anything. It’s going to be EPIC!
