OVERWHELMING VICTORY
Romans 8:37 (NLT)
37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
We are at war. Immediately you give your life to Jesus, you are translated from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light. The devil is not happy about that. There is no middle ground in this battle. You are either on the Lord’s side or on the enemy’s camp. This battle is not between God and the devil. God can destroy the devil with just a sneeze from his nostril if there is anything like that. He can just say a word and the enemy will be decimated.God is Almighty. However, He has delegated this battle to us His children.
Moreover, He has declared us victorious in advance even before the battle begins. This is beautiful. I like football. If you know that you have already won a football match, you will enjoy the match because you know the result. You just have fun in playing. Wow! I love that. We do not “war to victory” rather we “war from victory”. We do not fight to win rather we fight because we have won through Jesus. Paul said overwhelming victory is ours. If you are knocked down in this fight, just fall forward into the arms of grace.The battle is not over until you win. Our victory came from Jesus who gave thedevil a technical knockout at the cross. Jesus, who loves us has won thevictory for us and declared us more than conquerors.
Do you feel like you have been losing the battle? Do you feel bombarded on every side with attack? Jesus loves you and He has secured a complete victory for you. The Good News translation puts our text this way: “No,in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us!” Yes,you have complete victory not partial victory. I pray that this complete victory will become evident in your life. Just keep your eyes on Jesus because He is the author and finisher of our faith.

SUNDAY SERVICE REMINDER
This Sunday we will begin a new series on Spiritual Warfare. This is a very sensetive topic to discuss that doesn't get discussed all that much within church. Most us focus on the what we see right infront of us rather than wonder what is happening in the Spiritual realm. There battle happening right now between the forces of God and forces of Evil and we are in the middle of it. God wants you to be on the winning side. He wants you to be victorious for Him. You are here as His agent to help usher in His Kingdom. Within this Spiritual battle God is calling you to STAND UP and BE ON GUARD. He wants you to STAND FIRM in your faith and BE READY for what the Devi throws at you.
This weeks message is titled, VICTORY IN WARFARE.
