No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
We are at war, but God has declared us victorious in advance even before the battle begins. This is beautiful. I like football. If you know that you have already won a football match, you will enjoy the match because you know the result. You just have fun in playing. Wow! I love that. We do not “war to victory” rather we “war from victory”. We do not fight to win rather we fight because we have won through Jesus. Paul said overwhelming victory is ours. If you are knocked down in this fight, just fall forward into the arms of grace. The battle is not over until you win. Our victory came from Jesus who gave the devil a technical knockout at the cross. Jesus, who loves us has won the victory for us and declared us more than conquerors. Come to this vigil and learn how to experience the overwhelming victory we have in Jesus.
