Proverbs 18:24 (NIV)
24 One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
God made us to be social beings. Friendship is one of the avenues that enable to fulfil that desire. However, it is expedient that we choose rightly. Bad friendship can destroy you, but good friendship can build you up into a better person. Do you know that you can have a friend who is closer than a blood brother or sister? It is possible in the household of God.
