PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING AND PRAISE FOR THIS YEAR
Psalm 103:1–5 (NIV)
1Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. 2Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— 3who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, 4who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, 5who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Psalm 100:4–5 (NIV)
4Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
5For the Lord is good, and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 (NIV)
16Rejoice always, 17pray continually, 18give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
· Spend significant time in worship and listen to hear from God. Write down any prayer requests that the Holy Spirit gives you and pray them in addition to the following prayer requests below.
· Thank God for this year. Praise Him that you are alive in the land of the living.
· Praise God for saving your soul. Thank God for saving you from the bondage of sin and giving you eternal life.
· Thank God for healing you of diseases and keeping you healthy. Praise Him for renewing you like an eagle.
· Praise God for all His benefits in your life. Thank Him for all the good things He has done in your life.
· Thank God for his loving kindness and compassion upon your life. Thank Him for His mercies that are new every morning upon your life and your family.
· Thank God for blessing you with more than what you deserve. Praise Him for blessing you daily beyond measure.
· Pray that God will give you the grace to be joyful and thankful to Him regardless of what happens.
