PRAYER FOR FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IN YOUR LIFE
Galatians 5:22–25 (NIV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
Ephesians 4:1–3 (NIV)
1 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
1 Peter 4:8–9 (NIV)
8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.
· Spend significant time in worship and listen to hear from God. Write down any prayer requests that the Holy Spirit gives you and pray them in addition to the following prayer requests below.
· Pray for more of God and less of you.
· Pray for the full revelation of the fruit of the Spirit in your life including love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
· Pray that the flesh in your life will be crucified as you live a Holy Spirit filled life.
· Pray that God will help you to keep in step with the Holy Spirit as you follow His every day leading in total obedience.
· Pray that God will help you to live a life worthy of your calling in full humility and gentleness.
· Pray that God will make you a peacemaker as you manifest the fruit of the Spirit in you.
· Pray that your watchword in this year will be love. Pray that you will do everything out of love for God and His people.
