The 3rd Experience Exchanging Forum of Mining Investment 2015 was successfully held in Xijiao Hotel, Beijing City on December 20th. The theme of the forum was “When to bargain-hunt in global miningindustry as well as roadshow and review for mining investment projects. It was the third experience exchanging meeting of mining investment organized by Beijing Suntrans Language Translation Co., Ltd after the second one focusing on“One Belt and One Road” investment strategies was completed on June27th.

Wang Jiahua, standing Vice Chairman of China Mining Association attended the forum and delivered a speech. He does notconsider the "cold winter" for the mining industry real difficulties,but believes challenges during the sluggish status are also opportunities forpotential bonuses. Just combing back from the 17th China Mining Congress and Expo 2015 held in October, Wang predicts that 2016 will be a harder year forglobal mining industry. At the time when new public politics and economics report from the Fifth Plenary Session of the18th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee will soon be released, heseriously studied the guidelines and suggestions from the central government toresearch for a sustainable development way for China's mining sector. Wangconcluded several tips to improve the mining sector: Private enterprises shouldpioneer to research for new projects while mineral exploration authoritiesshould provide assistance to integrate resources. Major mining firms should take up the responsibility todevelop executable projects. Financial institutions should never withdraw fundaid from wellrun projects. In terms of the elimination of obsolete privatemining companies, government departments should issue policies to grantsubsidies and compensations. Meanwhile, large sized leading mining enterprisesshould seek to list on stock exchanges to raise more funds for furtherexpansion. For regular investors, do not sell out all mining shares even if theprice keeps dropping. Holding some stock of mining companies gives us the hopefor future dividend distribution. All sides in the mining industry should team up to achieve a win-win development forthe sector.
中国矿业联合会常务副会长王家华出席会议并致辞。王家华表示，“矿业的寒冬”并不是寒冬，而是寒冷的红利来了。王家华副会长刚刚参加完中国国际矿业大会会议，他说，2016年是全球矿业更加艰难的一年，很快五中全会的公报也即将发表，他也认真学习了一下五中全会的中共中央的建议书，在这个会议中学到如何去寻找中国矿业的可持续发展的路径。他建议从以下几个方面总结矿业行业发展：民营企业打冲锋，地勘协力再集中；矿业大企来接盘；金融支撑不放松；民地退出得变现；留点股份等分红；大企上市搞开发，几方共赢撑英雄。

Yan Weidong, Director of the Mineral Research Office under the Information Center of Ministry of Land and Resources delivereda speech with the theme of "to view the mining industry development trendbased on mining cycle". He gave a brief analysis on periodic change rulesof global economics, mineral exploration and development, mineral productmarkets and mining enterprise acquisitions. Yan believes the global economy isstill in in-depth restructuring featuring that developed countries are insluggish recovery while emerging countries are facing a slowdown in economicgrowth. Along with the weakening economy, the global mining industry isslumping. It will take time to reach the revival for the mining sector.
国土资源部信息中心矿产研究室主任闫卫东在交流会上作了主题为“从矿业周期看当前矿业形势”的演讲，他从其对全球经济、矿产勘探开发、矿产品市场和企业并购的周期性变化规律作了简要分析，认为目前全球经济正处于深度调整之中，发达经济体复苏乏力，新兴经济体增速趋缓，同时全球矿业伴随着世界经济呈现周期性变化，现在已步入萧条期，复苏尚待时日。

中国地质科学院矿产资源研究所副主任王高尚
Wang Gaoshang, Vice Director of the MineralResource Research Institution under the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences,gave his own opinions on bargainhunting overseas mining assets. Hedelivered a speech focusing on the demand & supply and exploration trend ofChina's mineral resources under the "new normal" economic status. According to Wang, making use of the mining cycle should be based on thedemand theory and life cycle of mineral resources. "The Wave VariableTheory indicates that the demand peak varies between different mineralresources during the course of economic development", Wang said."Besides, the wave variables of industrialization are not the same in differentregions in the world, so that the periodic development of the demand formineral resources evolves differently between different countries. "
中国地质科学院矿产资源研究所副主任王高尚对矿业海外抄底给出了自己的意见，并围绕新常态下我国矿产资源供需趋势及勘察开发方向发表了主题演讲。王高尚认为，对周期的把握主要基于资源的需求理论和需求周期。“资源需求的波次理论，指的是不同资源在经济发展过程中的需求峰值到来的时间是不一样的。另外，世界工业化发展的波次性不一样，因此在全球资源需求的周期性发展也不一样。”
