Beijing Suntrans language Translation Company(hereinafter called Suntrans), headquartered in Beijing, China and having a subsidiary in New York, U.S.A, was registered in February,2008. After 8 years of development led by Dr. Lu Guo, Suntrans has grown from a team of only 6 tranlators to be a powerful translation group with more than 30 full-time managerial staff and over 1,024 part-time translators/interpreters,including 68 senior translators/proofreaders. As a leading multi-language service provider in China and the first specialized language service provider in the geologic and mining sector, Suntrans has pushed forward the development of China’s language services.

As a gocernment-sponsored student in the Uninversity of Miami, U.S.A., Dr. Lu Guo wroked in the word’s largest mining company PHP Billiton, and the Overseas Mineral Research Center of the China Geological Survey.
As a language service expert in the geologic and mining sector, Dr Lu has provided interpreting service for many high-ranking government officals from around the world, including ambassadors from many African countries, the vice president of Uganda, Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi, Vice Minster of Land and Resources of China, Wang Min, and Director of the Science and Technology and reported by a number of media such as the China Central Television(CCTV), ABC, Uganda’s NT, Africa’s New Vision, Daily Monitor, Mirror and the Chinese Newspaper of Land and Resources.
