DJ Eskimo 是一位出生于英国、现居北京的音乐制作人。他的创作深受早期 Grime 和 UK Garage 音乐影响，但在此基础上发展出更具氛围感与内省气质的声音风格，将厚重有力的鼓点、梦幻朦胧的音色、充满情感的采样与人声，以及来自不同音乐类型的灵感融为一体。

在这次特别的演出中，Eskimo 将从自己近四张发行作品中挑选曲目，并将它们串联成一段关于声音与情绪的旅程，回顾过去几年塑造其音乐创作的重要片段。与聚焦舞池能量的俱乐部音乐不同，这次选曲更着重于那些最能代表他个人风格与创作内核的作品。

这些音乐中的许多作品都诞生于北京漫长的冬季。城市独有的氛围、四季更迭的变化，以及在这里生活过程中经历的人与事，都深深影响着他的创作。关于记忆、怀旧、心碎与自我审视的主题，也贯穿于整场音乐旅程之中。

DJ Eskimo is a UK-born producer currently based in Beijing. Drawing inspiration from old-school grime and UK garage, his music takes a more melancholic and atmospheric approach, blending heavy drums with dreamy pads, emotional vocals, and influences from a wide range of genres.

For this mix, I’ll be selecting tracks from my last four releases and bringing them together into a journey through the sounds I’ve been exploring over the past few years. Rather than focusing on club music, I’ll be choosing the tracks that best represent my style and the moods that have inspired my work.

Many of these songs were written during Beijing’s long winters and are influenced by the city’s atmosphere, its changing seasons, and the experiences that shaped me while living here. Themes of memory, nostalgia, heartbreak, and self-reflection appear throughout the music.

This mix will be a chance to revisit some of my favourite moments from those projects and present them in a new context. Whether you’ve been following my music for a while or are hearing it for the first time, I hope it offers a glimpse into the world I’ve been building through these releases.
