For our China Business Seminar this month, we will be holding a unique opportunity for you all to visit two factories within the Tianjin Economic Technological Development Area on Friday 17th February. It will give you a chance to experience the production process of a Chinese and international company and understand why China is referred to as the 'workshop of the world'.
The agenda for the day is as follows:
07:00 am Meet CRCC Asia staff down in the lobby
07:10 am Bus will leave to TEDA
TEDA is Northern China's finest state sponsored economic zone started up in 1984 to attract foreign investment.
09:20 am First Factory Visit- Tianjin Otsuka Beverage Company
This factory by and large produce Pokari Sweat- which is one of China's most popular drinking beverages. Otsuka poured $40 million worth of investment into China to establish themselves as a market leader in the drink industry.
10:30 am Second Factory Visit- Master Kong
Master Kong is China's most chosen instant noodle brand. They produce 4 million boxes of finished product each year. They are a staple diet for many travellers on trains up and down the country!
12:00 pm Lunch in BinHai, the district in TianJin
We will be going to a local restaurant to experience the unique Tianjin style of cooking.
1:30 pm Visit of Taku Forts
Taku Forts is an ancient fort built in the Ming Dynasty. It has a turbulent history and is synonymous with the Boxer Rebellion and the Second Opium Wars which saw French and British troops storm the battalions in what is one of China's most infamous days in their history.
3:30pm Head back to Beijing
6:00pm Arrive in Beijing
