The CRCC Asia Beijing team welcomed 17 young Israelis professionals who arrive as part of the inaugural China Israel Internship Program(CIIP) in partnership with the Israeli Minisitry of Foreign Affairs.
Let’s take a look at their first week in Beijing:
Day 1 - Airport Pick-up
The 17 participants all arrived safetly at the Beijing Capital Airport. After a short exploration of the area, the group all went for an informal dinner become better acquainted.
Day 2 - Induction Day

After croissants and coffee, we took them to their first Mandarin class at Mandarin House, where their Mandarin journey began. After a whole morning class, they received a informative induction about China, and more specifically Beijing's overview.
After the induction, we had our Welcome Banquet, which gave them a more formal welcome from the whole CRCC Asia team. They got to taste Chinese food and experience the China-centric dining manner.
Day 3 - Induction Day 2

The second morning continued on with their Mandarin class. After the class, we went to the Hatchery for their newly Israeli brunch concept, where all of them got a taste of home. Then we had our 2nd part of Induction, which gave them a better understanding of Chinese history and business culture.

After the presentation about Chinese culture, we led them on a Hutongs tour nearby. We walked through the Beijing hutongs, letting them see and feel the differences between new and old Beijing, allowing them to enjoy a mix experience of the modern and the ancient. We ended up in the Houhai area and went for dinner in area with a beautiful neon view.
Day 4 - CBS

After the first 2 days’ of using private bus transportation, we finally took them to the Mandarin class by subway, to prepare them for going around Beijing. After the class, we organized them to meet with Israeli Chamber of Commerce, where they joined a Israel-China relation seminar. Some of them have a strong desire to increase China-Israel relations, so this topic really interested them.
We also held a China Business Seminar, which was about Disruptive Industries. Our panelists and program participants were really engaged in the topic, and shared their opinions on innovation, technology, disruptive industries with us.
Day 5 - Israeli Social


After the routine Mandarin class, we went to Yong He Gong temple for a tour and had lunch there. Following that, the highlight of the day was having an Israeli Social at Bite a Pitta. Our participants got to meet some of our partner company supervisors and fellow Israelis in Beijing.
Day 6 - Silk Market
The week ended with Mandarin class in the morning and a tour to Silk Market in the afternoon. We went there with our Israeli friends, and let them experience the Chinese market.
Apart these activities, the weekend was filled with Friday evening Chabad, a trip to the Great Wall, a cultural art studio trip to SongZhuang and many more!
