Balboa is a social partnered dance that originated in Southern California during the 1920s and 1930s and gained in popularity in the 1930s and 1940s. It is danced primarily in close embrace to upbeat swing music. This dance is fully improvisational and can be quite energetic yet elegant. Today many people around the world enjoy this type of swing dance.

什么是巴尔波亚?巴尔波亚是一种上世纪20-30年代起源于南加州的舞蹈，当然现在的巴尔波亚更加融合很多当代的元素。早期的巴尔波亚实际上 是Swing Dance摇摆舞的一种，出现在1915年，并在30到40年代得到了最好的发展。这种舞蹈看起来就像是两个人在拥抱，用全身的链接去引带和跟随。而专属于她的独特魅力则在于音带和跟随之间十分微妙的交流了。如今巴尔波亚舞蹈已得到了全世界的喜爱。

老师是来自美国的Jered和来自俄罗斯的Leru，他们是摇摆北京最具经验的balboa老师，有着多年的舞蹈和教学经验，他们希望能舞蹈的激情与更多的学生们一同分享。课程上老师们会用中英双语授课，所以不用担心会有语言障碍哦。

Jered (USA) and Leru (Russia) are two of the most experienced Swing Beijing instructors for Balboa. They have been dancing and teaching this style for several years, and eager to share their passion with their students. Teachers are bilingual (Eng & CN), so you will not be lost in translation!
