【FRI 01.01】FUNKY NEW YEAR START: ERIC TSEN QUARTET 岑臻爵士四重奏

We are celebrating the beginning of 2016 with a Friday exhuding of funky grooves and the soul system sound of the fantastic Eric Tsen Jazz Quartet. Expect a real explosion of live with Eric's heated saxophone, ET's legendary bass melodies, Tim's fine guitar chords, and all the surprises coming out from Orvil's drums. An eclectic band, with musicians that keep their roots deep in traditional jazz and blues while always reaching out for new sounds, unafraid of the unique results of their experimentation.

Eric 爵士四重奏由萨克斯手Eric，贝斯手ET，吉他手Tim和鼓手Orvil组成。号称英国发电机的鼓手为这支以高能为特色的乐队源源不断地输送能量，加上ET扎实又活跃的贝斯旋律，衬托上小方富有思考性且现代感十足的和弦以及Eric感情饱满的萨克斯独奏，每个乐手都有多样的音乐背景，但又深深地扎根于爵士和布鲁斯的语汇中，他们致力于探索各种风格的爵士乐，包括摇摆、放克、拉丁等等，不但能奏出复杂动听的独奏，也沉醉于简洁强劲的节奏，展现出独一无二的高能和激情。
