Jay Dub (Jewell Fortenberry) originally from Atlanta Georgia,  moved to Beijing China in 2009. Since then as pianist, producer and solo artist he has continued to impress audiences worldwide with his songwriting and performance versatility. He has been featured as a guest performer for the National Black Arts festival and for the Atlanta Chapter of the National Recording Arts and sciences, performing alongside such artists as Usher and Kenny Lattimore in honor of the late Ray Charles. Jay Dub has continued to perform internationally in places such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, as well as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Russia and Thailand. He has served as Producer/Music Director on a number of projects, most notably for Chinese recording artist Tia Ray and her first self titled studio album. Jay Dub has also served as producer for Chinese rap artist Shuang Zi, Baltimore rap artist “The Author”, and New York rap artist Emcee Heretic's studio albums. He has also been a featured Music Producer for CCTV's “VOICE of China” and "X Factor" .  J CREW was founded in 2012 and performs original Rock, Pop, and Hip-hop music written by Jay Dub, fellow J CREW member Danimal (Dan Zylinski), and the affiliated DJ Soulspeak (Jeff Liang) who performs periodically with the group. He is backed by amazing virtuoso guitarist Gabriel Beaudoin, and the soulful vocals of Nancy J Brown and Gabriel Pitts, who also happens to be J CREW's phenom drummer. J CREW has been featured in music festivals all over China and also from Singapore to Inner Mongolia. They have been featured performers on the JZ International Music Festivals every year in Shanghai since 2012. J CREW has music for all ages, and a style that is both unique and sure to amaze all who listen.

来自美国亚特兰大的音乐人 Jay dub，自2009年起旅居于中国北京。自小演出至今，无论是钢琴独奏还是说唱，他的演出一次次震撼着观众。曾担任国际黑人艺术节（National Black Arts festival ）特邀嘉宾；曾受邀（Atlanta Chapter of the National Recording Arts and sciences）公司与许多杰出音乐人如usher，kenny lattimore为纪念缅怀Ray Charles演出。
Jay dub过去精彩的演出已踏遍各大国际城市，香港，上海，广州，台湾，以及泰国，俄国等。
现在的他更多的是担任音乐制作人，音乐导演的角色，为中国女歌手Tia Ray担任制作人录制她的精彩单曲以及以她自己为名第一张专辑；他也为说中国唱音乐人shuang zi，巴尔的摩音乐人The Author ，纽约音乐人Emcee Heretic的工作室录制专辑
曾受邀担任”cctv中国好声音“和“x factor”音乐制作人。
在2012年他组建了自己的乐队j crew。乐队演奏就以摇滚，pop，hip hop为调的曲风，成员们杰出的担任着自己的角色：吉他：Danimal (Dan Zylinski), DJ ：Soulspeak (Jeff Liang) ，吉他：Gabriel Beaudoin，和声：Nancy J Brown ，Gabriel Pitts
而他们受邀出演的各大国际音乐节早已从中国到新加坡，到马来西亚，内蒙古...
从2012年开始他们每年也都会出现在上海的爵士音乐节。
J CREW就以他们男女老少通吃的音乐，和独特的演出方式，永远充满活力的深刻着他们的每一位观众
