On OCT 4TH Modernisra welcomes you join us for an evening of Italian Nostalgia as we welcome The Italian Way to our stage. The sound created by this gathering of musicians can be described as nostalgic blast to the past, an Amarcord of the Italian golden era, when the musical production perfectly mirrored the beautiful and brilliant society of the economic boom.
Led by Nora Pierro, songwriter and member of The anti-maffia association Libera, The Italian Way blurrs the lines across different genres and tells with everyday songs a country's story of the past seventy years.
Through Dolce Vita moments and Godfathers' threat, enjoy the sun and just leave the bad times behind, waste yourself in the contradiction of the Great Beauty. Let´s together turn on the Italian swing mood with the elegant and distinctive style of music originating from the Swing music of the american 1930's and that's incorporating elements and sounds from the Italian tradition of musica melodica, musica leggera and folk.
