Every week at Modernista, we prepare all kinds of different events for you. Our weekly events are regular activities that bring some extra excitement before the weekend parties start. Also, as they are all community based, give you lots of chances to meet people with similar insterests and make new friends in the big city! Whether you are fond of dancing or you have an artistic vein, you can find something right for you at Modernista, just have a look!

LATIN MONDAY
周一拉丁之夜
The hottest party of the week happens actually every Monday, thanks to our very popular salsa classes, an all night long mojito happy hour and the energetic live performance of definitely the best Latin band in China, SAVOR LATINO, playing until late for you to practice your new dance steps week by week!

DRINK & DRAW
周二画画作乐夜
On TUESDAY, our very fun and relaxed live drawing sessions are among the week's favourites! DRINK & DRAW is not a drawing class, but an open, free and creative space for anyone who enjoys drawing while having a good drink. It features different models and themes every week, with accompanying music and ocassional performances. Come to draw and wake up your creativity!
画画作乐夜并不是绘画课，而是提供了一个免费的自在随性、充满奇思妙想，并且有音乐美酒相伴的绘画创作空间。无需专业，只需尽兴！
在这里，可以使用我们提供的纸笔也可自带工具。每周会有不同的绘画创作主题，配合各式舞台布景、模特及音乐，另每一次体验都新奇有趣。

SWING WEDNESDAY
周三摇摆舞之夜
Modernista's emblematic SWING WEDNESDAY features a weekly Balboa style class imparted by Swing Beijing professional teachers in both English and Chinese. Classes are arranged in cycles and need to be signed up in advance, with occassional free trial sessions. After the class, everyone is welcome to join for our SWING SOCIAL DANCE PARTY imbued with a vintage feeling you won't find anywhere else around the city.
每周三在老摩的摇摆舞之夜，我们穿越到三十年代复古的氛围与节奏，还原当时年轻人最时髦的摇摆舞时代！
跳舞课+后续舞会，既可以跳进舞池尽情摇摆，或者找张桌子享受被音乐与舞者包围的浓厚气氛！

SUNDAY JAZZ
周日爵士之夜
On SUNDAY, Modernista transforms itself into a classy Jazz club featuring the best of Beijing's local jazz scene and visiting international artists. Performances start early evening, so you can enjoy them along a wine dinner and still on time to get home early. And don't forget we also have some of the best cocktails to suit the relaxed, cozy atmosphere of a Sunday Jazz!
