St. Patrick’s day might have been on the 17th, but why stop the party when we just started to get Irish? Come and join us this Friday night for some serious sounds performed by the notorious band Blackwater! Their Irish Rock music with a traditional Celtic soul will make you not want to stop dancing after midnight, when DJ Jargerzhadan continues the party and our usual midnight Happy Hour shots will flow of course.

Blackwater is a traditional Irish music ensemble created in 2010 inBeijing by a group of French, Irish and Chinese musicians. For severalyears the group devoted itself to a traditional repertoire in acousticsand performed numerous concerts in China. Concert halls, festivals,theaters and auditoriums thus welcome the different versions of thegroup where new musicians and singers soon come together. It wasduring this time that the band recorded their album and performedtwice before two Presidents of the Republic of Ireland visiting China.

It was in 2015 that the group decided to switch from acoustic to electric: around the virtuoso Zoé Wang (accordion) and the French Nico Torrese (electric guitar), two of the group's founders, a new and powerful rhythm section joined in with Cédric Lebaillif (drums) and Antoine Picot (bass).

This is the start of a new period for Blackwater which now injects big doses of rock into the standards of the traditional Irish repertoire and adds titles from the Celtic punk scene. The arrival of two young Irish musicians within Blackwater definitely seals a new start for the group: Siobhan Keane (violin) and Sean Spillane (vocals) thus reinforce all the energy and authenticity that Blackwater has demonstrated for more than ten years.
这是黑水乐队新时期的开始，黑水乐队现在为传统的爱尔兰剧目注入了大量摇滚，并增加了凯尔特朋克乐队的冠军头衔。两位年轻的爱尔兰音乐家来到黑水乐队，无疑为乐队带来了一个新的始:SiobhanKeane(小提琴)和 Sean Spillane(声乐)，从而强化了黑水乐队十多年来所展示的所有能量和真实性。
DJ JAGERZHADAN
DJ Jagerzhadan was the regular DJ at First Floor for 10 years and for several years the Saturday night DJ at Cantina Agave’s rooftop. He’s now the Saturday resident DJ at QS. He also DJ’d at Reddog, Temple, Arrow Factory, Parlor, Long Jing and The Bar. Depending on the party, he rotates between genres throughout the night: ‘80s, ‘90s alt and pop, classic rock, Latino, r&b, new pop, disco, dance house and dance.
DJ Jagerzhadan在壹楼DJ长达十年，他也Cantina Agave的露台周六驻场过几年。现在，他是QS周六的驻场DJ，在红狗，Temple, 箭厂，Parlor, Long Jing以及The Bar都可以见到他的身影。根据派对的不同，他也会根据相应的氛围和风格进行行云流水的切换：从80、90风到流行，从经典摇滚到拉丁舞曲，从灵魂乐到新流行，还有迪斯科，dance house和各种热门舞曲。
MIDNIGHT SHOTS HAPPY HOUR

We call it on that hour since our DJ always needs some extra love shot at him after the live music ends and the dance party starts. Try some classics such are Coco Locos, Naughty Girls and Dirty Russians. Take your pick between the intoxicating Purple Haze or the cool sweetness of the Chocolate Mint. Dare to try the tequila in Strawberry Cupid's Bow, or the spicy fire burning in Kill Bill shot. Or maybe just want to have a strong, velvety, and decadent After Hours? One way or another, they will get the party started, Modernista style!"
