We're excited to showcase on this Tuesday’s Songwriters Series Chinese rock maestro Chen Hongwei, who’s musical career expands since his debut with band “Rust” in the early 90s. Get ready to immerse yourself in the art of music creation, as Chen shares a wide range of original compositions coming to life through his guitar and the voice gifted singer Tian Tian.
本周二的唱作人夜系列，自90年代便开始以“锈铁”乐队，在国内现代乐坛展露头角的陈鸿维，将在舞台上分享他丰富多样的原创作品，与天赋异禀的歌手甜甜一起，这将是一个充满多样音乐风格的原创夜晚，不要错过这个深入音乐创作艺术、享受鼓舞人心的夜晚。
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Chen Hongwei is a talented musician and guitarist renowned for his composition and arrangement skills. Born into a musical family, he started the rock band "Rust" in 1992, producing several notable works. He later became the chief guitarist for the Beijing Song and Dance Ensemble and toured extensively. In 1993, Chen founded the "Crown" band and led it while participating in the successful "Rock '94" compilation, where his single "Endure" reached the second top sales spot. He also co-founded the "Awakening" band with a former "Tang Dynasty" bassist, maintaining an active presence in the music scene. By 1996, he and Mr. Wu Shude launched the "City" duo, contributing to the "Fire of a China" music compilation. Chen has taught at prominent Beijing music schools like Midi and Rainbow River, gaining industry acclaim. Actively involved in music festivals and jazz concerts, he collaborates with famous musicians worldwide, continuing to shape the landscape of Chinese pop music.
陈鸿维是一位全能音乐家和吉他演奏家，拥有丰富的创作和编曲经验。他出生于音乐世家，1992年组建了具有艺术气质的摇滚乐队“锈铁”，并在当时创作了多首优秀作品。随后，他加入北京歌舞团，担任首席吉他手，并多次参与国内外巡演。1993年，他组建了“皇冠”乐队，并担任乐队队长。同年，他参与了“摇滚94”音乐合辑的录制，并凭借单曲《忍受》取得了销量总排行榜第二的成绩。此后，他与“唐朝”乐队贝斯手合作创建了“惊蛰”乐队，并继续活跃在音乐舞台上。1996年，他与吴树德先生组建了“城市”组合，并在“中国火”音乐合辑中发表了原创歌曲。此外，他还曾在北京的迷笛现代音乐学校和虹河音乐学校担任音乐教师，赢得了业界的广泛认可。陈先生不仅参与了多个音乐节和爵士音乐会，还与国内外多位知名音乐家合作，持续探索中国流行音乐的制作和创作。
Tiantian secured second place in the Liaoning Province Campus Singer TV Contest. She has frequently performed on CCTV and local channels, and appeared in a Samsung mobile ad. She showcased her original songs at the Beijing Strawberry Music Festival and released her album "Memorial Classics." Tiantian also recorded and released several TV drama theme songs, complete with their MTVs. Additionally, she was involved in producing the album "Eight Hundred Years of Storms" and hosted a press conference the same year.
甜甜曾在辽宁省校园歌手电视大奖赛中荣获二等奖。她多次在中央电视台和各大地方台的节目及文艺晚会上表演，并参与了三星手机广告的拍摄。此外，甜甜还在北京草莓音乐节上演唱了自己的原创作品，并成功录制并发行了个人音乐专辑《纪念经典》。她还参与了多部电视连续剧主题歌的录制和发行，并拍摄了同名MTV。此外，她还参与了《风云八百年》音乐专辑的录制和发行，并在同年举办了新闻发布会。
