Dear friends,
It’s the start of a new week and, hopefully, it brings more sunny summery days! Rain or shine, we are excited about this week’s events. Our long-time favorite Drink & Draw has undergone a transition. Every week our models address a new topic to inspire your artistic and creative sides. And there’s booze too. On Wednesday, come for our world-famous Swinging tunes and Balboa dancing. On Thursday, come pick up some new moves at our Salsa Workshop and then apply them during the Live Latin Music that follows.
On Friday, grab your berets (just kidding!) as we welcome back Mademoiselle Et Son Orchestre to our stage. On Saturday, Akbar brings its fusion of modernity and tradition with a unique take on Xinjiang music.
On Sunday, Modernista, with the help of Farm2Neighbours turns into a veritable bazaar, where you can find some of the healthiest products in town. As always, our Organic Brunch features tasty and healthy dishes made of a selection of F2N products. It’s the perfect opportunity to stock up on vitamins in preparation for the busy week ahead. This, Sunday, unfortunately, our monthly show for kids - Spectacles Jeune Public has been suspended, and will be held instead in September 20th, after the summer vacation.
Finally, it is awards’ season in Beijing. Thats Beijing's The Best Of Beijing 2015 is online until June 19th. Modernista has the honor of being nominated for Best Hutong Bar and Best Live Music Venue. 周日，越来越热闹的农夫市集，你一定要来。一周的忙碌加上周末的狂欢，需要健康的食品来调节自己的身体，或者给亲朋好友带点健康的手信也是不错的选择哦。当然也别忘了，我们超级美味的早午餐。
噢，对还有一个不太妙的消息，这个周末的“为了孩子的演出”因为某些原因，暂时取消了，但他们将会在暑假结束后，9月20号从新回归我们的舞台。
