In collaboration with Modernista's night handmade and second hand market Beijing's vintage hair and vintage fashion expert, Leru (aka Trixie Royale), will teach you how to create beautiful, classic looks of the golden vintage age! This workshop is designed specifically for ladies with LONG HAIR (more than 20 cm below the shoulder line).

This workshop is 2 hours long and will cover FOUR key looks:

SHOP: WOOL FELTING
Alevtina Sharapova was born in Moscow, Russia. Her formal art training took place at the Moscow College of Arts and Crafts with the major of carpets and tapestry making. After graduating she worked several years as a designer in a carpet company, than she took part in organizing a small workshop studio "Donegal". This studio cooperated with a small carpet factory in Ireland, founded by famous designer William Morris. "Donegal" studio mostly worked on unique pieces of art - hand-made tapestries based on the paintings of modern artists, one of kind pieces for interior design.In 2006 Alevtina moved to China with her family. She was impressed with the bright ornamentation, rich culture and vast diversity of Chinese art. She tried calligraphy and Chinese ink-painting, that brought her new experience she tried to use in her art. After a period of searching for a new vision, when she tried doll-making, paper clay, patchwork, she came to felt-making, which was close to the carpets for its soft texture and great majority of usage. Wool felting is a traditional technique of making things from wool using hot water and soap. Different items can be made from wool - toys, bags, shoes, hats, scarves and more.
Currently Alevtina works with wool in different styles - from small interior objects to bigger wall hangings, combining traditional approach with modern point of view. Also she is running classes for children and grown-ups where students learn how to make things with there own hands. It is not only a handicraft, but also a way to express yourself through colors and forms, the way to decorate your house with unique items, not just bought in shops, but made by yourself.
Another project is art studio for grown-ups and art therapy. As people often say that they like to draw, but they were too busy to learn drawing when they were young, Alevtina organized classes especially for such students. These students are aged from 25 to 55 years old and they come to study basic principles of drawing and painting. But the main idea of the classes is to help people to find there inner artist so they can express their feelings with lines and colors.

2006年，她与家人搬到中国。她明亮的装饰加上丰富的文化和巨大差异的中国艺术让众人印象深刻。她试着书法和中国水墨画，这给她带来了新的经验，她试图用在她的艺术。羊毛毡是一种传统的用热水和肥皂羊毛制作东西的技术。不同的物品可以由羊毛制成的不一样的玩具、塑料袋、鞋子、帽子、围巾等。
目前她的作品从小型室内物体到壁挂不同风格的羊毛作品不等，传统方法与现代观点相结合。她还为孩子们和大人们上课，学生们在那里学习如何用自己的双手去做事情。它不仅是一种工艺品，也是一种表达自己的方式，通过颜色和形式，用独特的方式来装饰你的房子，这是在商店里买不到的，而是自己亲力亲为做的。

Scratching Beijing takes to the Modernista stage once more showcasing the best of the last show there Shanghai Jam. Prepare to cry and laugh as Josh Tyas bedazzles you in the most important moment of his life, and careful ladies he’s wearing bow tie! Oh, and Dong is coming out to play in a sparkling new dress and reveals a little too much about her toilet adventures (contains strong language).

We offer you the chance of showcasing your group in our beautiful space with a performance of maximum 15 minutes during any moment of our night market, and we will promote every participants in advance through our platforms.
All kinds of performances are welcomed, including dancing, live music, djing, stand up, theatre, improv, creative talking, short lectures, poetry reading, live painting, photo taking or anything that comes to your mind!

VINTAGE AND FLEA MARKET / 古董珍藏及跳蚤市场
Finally, as Modernista famously celebrates everything old, that magic of things passing from one hand to another along time, we are keeping a very special section for vintage and second hand.
Spend hours searching among dozens of old books, catch a glimpse of an amazing dress among piles of other clothes, and get one more time that feeling that there was something waiting for you somewhere all the way long.
Both vintage and second hand items are highly welcomed in our tables. Brand vintage all those items made before 1995, that is, those having at least 20 years of history, while the rest falls on second hand type.
我们的老顾客都知道，Modernista非常擅长关于时间的魔法。我们热爱那些旧时光，古董玩意儿。所以这一部分对我们来说，非常特别。
花上几个小时在那些古董书籍中寻找属于自己的那份趣味，意外淘到惊艳眼球的古着服饰。这不仅是一场买卖，更是一种感觉，感觉好像命中注定一样，它就在这里等着你的到来，带它回家感受那份来自旧时光的味道。
在我们这里，无论是复古的、还是单纯的二手产品，都是无任欢迎的。也请各位注意，古董珍藏应该是产自1995年之前，至少有20年历史味道的产品，在此标准之外的，都会归类到二手产品中。
