The Terry Hsieh Electric Trio(TH33) brings electric-centered groove to the forefront of their style. Pioneered by the likes of Miles Davis and Joe Zawinul, TH33 is a groove-based modal Jazz group that features Sejin Bae in electric organ , Fiach Ó Briain on drums and Terry Hsieh on electric trombone.

Terry Hsieh（谢燕辉）是一个在Oberlin College双修爵士长号和东亚研究的学生，深受各种爵士大师和流派的影响。作为一个长号手，他先在从师于杜克大学的爵士教授John V. Brown. 自2006至 2007， 他被选中作为首席长号手在University of Carolina at Greensboro’s Honors High School的爵士乐队中表演，并受教于贝斯手Steve Haines。他还从师于名爵士乐家如Maria Schneider, Mike Murley, Marcus Roberts,和 Vincent Gardner。
