You read that right, yes!! It is haaaaaappening! We missed our dear Latin night so badly during the past half year without Savor Latino, that we could not help but squeeze in not one, but TWO Latin parties in our October holiday schedule. The very popular leader of the band, Gilberto, will make everyone in the room dance like there's no tomorrow. If he could do that on a Monday, can you imagine what a full weekend of salsa and bachata and merengue will look like? Cancel your travel plans, some Latin flavor is filling up Modernista this holiday. And remember... Moijito did it, not us!
在十一黄金周的前两天，让我们用最精彩的演出为长假致敬。有什么事情能比拉丁之夜更让我们振奋的吗？Gilberto的音乐将会点燃整个房间。让我们通宵达旦地跳舞，和朋友们一起畅饮美酒，感受空气中的洋溢的激情。这并不是一个平常的夜晚，因为这将是我们的拉丁之夜。
GILBERTO ROMERO
SINGER / PERCUSSION 歌手 / 打击乐
Gilberto grew up in Valencia, Venezuela. As a young boy he started singing with small bands fron the barrio, playing small percussion instruments and singing typical music from Venezuela. He participated in different contests and festivals singing and created a large crowd following. Then he started playing and singing with famous orquestas in Venezuela, like : Fernando Colina y Su Banda Caribena；Orquesta La Mayor; Orquesta La Tremenda; Orquesta La Premier; Orquesta Los Melodicos, etc… In October 2003 he had the opportunity to come to China to sing with the latin band “MAKORE” in a Latin bar called “LATINOS”. Until 2005 when another Latin club “SALSA CARIBE” decided to bring him on board as the lead singer. Since then until now he started as a singer and playing small percussion in the band, making crowds old and young dance and have fun, not just Chinese people, but all differents nationalities in China and outside of China. As a solist, he participated in diffferent events around China, like Nan ning TV, BTV, CCTV, the new year 2016 event in the Forbiden City, also at the great wall for the next Winter Olympic Games 2022.
Gilberto在委内瑞拉长大，当他还是个小男孩的时候，他就开始在乐队里唱歌，演奏小型打击乐器。他参加了不同的比赛和节日的演唱，也累积了很多粉丝。然后他开始和委内瑞拉著名艺人一起演奏，比如Fernando Colina和Su BANDA CARIBENA。2003年10月，他有个机会来中国和拉丁乐队“MAKORE”一起在一个拉丁酒吧演出。2005年，另一家拉丁俱乐部“SALSA CARIBE”决定让他担任主唱。从那时起直到现在他开始作为歌手和打击乐手进入大家的视野，让人们享受到音乐带来的欢乐。他还参加了中国各地不同的活动，如南宁电视台、北京电视台、中央电视台，2016年新年在紫禁城的活动以及2022年冬奥会。
