We stepped into second half of the October with a wonderful week ahead. Don’t miss out our Drink and Draw weekly gathering on Tuesday. Mark your Wednesday for a very special Flamenco night with Crystal 19. Bossa Nova fans hurry up to book tables for Thursday powered by J Kyle Bossa Band’s amazing music project. We will flow into a weekend with a help of Beijing’s singer-songwriter queen Ember Swift on Friday, and continue with our regulars the Great Buffalo Blues on Saturday. After a packed week Liu Peyi Quintet will make sure you relax properly during our smooth-running Sunday Jazz series.
不知不觉，10月份马上就要过半。接下来的一周，老摩也是为大家安排了满满的精彩：让我们相聚周二的前卫绘画工作室，一起天马行空，一起画画喝喝；也记得把Crystal 19带来的周三弗拉门戈之夜重点画圈；周四小周末，让我们和J Kyle Bossa 乐队一同前往巴西，来一场充满波萨诺瓦的热情夜晚；周末当然是不容错过的：周五，京城音乐女王子玉登台献演，
接踵而至的是周六献演的大水牛乐队；让刘培义五重奏奏响周日爵士音调，为老摩的精彩一周画上圆满的句号。

On Thursday you’ll be seeing some familiar faces at our stage, but in a completely different rhythm. J Kyle Gregory on trumpet, Douglas Martin on guitar, Antonio Fusco on drums and Yuan Ye on double bass will be showcasing particular charm and natural flair of warm Brazilian beats. Bossa Nova is coming to Modernista in great style.

DJ Jagerzhadan
DJ Jagerzhadan was the regular DJ at First Floor for 10 years and for several years the Saturday night DJ at Cantina Agave’s rooftop. He’s now the Saturday resident DJ at QS. He also DJ’d at Reddog, Temple, Arrow Factory, Parlor, Long Jing and The Bar. Depending on the party, he rotates between genres throughout the night: ‘80s, ‘90s alt and pop, classic rock, Latino, r&b, new pop, disco, dance house and dance.
DJ Jagerzhadan在壹楼DJ长达十年，他也Cantina Agave的露台周六驻场过几年。现在，他是QS周六的驻场DJ，在红狗，Temple, 箭厂，Parlor, Long Jing以及The Bar都可以见到他的身影。根据派对的不同，他也会根据相应的氛围和风格进行行云流水的切换：从80、90风到流行，从经典摇滚到拉丁舞曲，从灵魂乐到新流行，还有迪斯科，dance house和各种热门舞曲。

Great Buffalo Blues are coming back to Modernista! Very little introduction needed about them for our frequent partygoers. They combine different music genres with R&B while creating their own unique sound that's guaranteeing night full of dancing. If you've been to their shows before, you know it's gonna be on fire!

This Sunday will be another great jazz night with Liu Peiyi Qintet. Liu's saxophone will be accompanied by Liu Ao on guitar, Bi Zhigang on bass, Luo Chaowei on drums and Xu Weihang on piano. They will play various works including their original music, adapted Chinese songs and of course some standard Jazz. Come here for some really good music to complete your weekend.
这个周日又是一个曼妙的爵士之夜。这个周日将是与刘培义琴一起度过的又一个美妙的爵士之夜。刘的萨克斯将伴随吉他手刘奥 、贝斯手毕志刚、鼓手罗超文和钢琴手徐苇航。他们的五重奏将演奏多元的作品，包括他们的原创音乐，一些中国乐曲的改编还有一些爵士标准曲。听爵士来结束一周的疲惫，是个不错的选择。

Take your pick between the intoxicating Purple Haze or the cool sweetness of the Chocolate Mint; dare to try the tequila in Strawberry Cupid's bow, or the spicy fire in the Kill Bill shot.
