La Fete De La Musique is one of the greatest music events in France, a tradition celebrated every year on the 21st of June. Over the years, it has expanded over hundreds of cities all over the world and finally has been happening Beijing since 2012! La Fete De La Musique promotes dozens of concerts you can attend for free on Sunday 21st of June. All day long, all over Beijing and especially in the Gulou area, you can go from venue to venue to listen to a variety of music styles.
As a line up to celebrate this great day at Modernista , we have :
First show at 8 pm – THE PLUM TREES – The Plum Trees are an all original three piece band with folk, pop, rock sounds, acoustic guitar, electric, bass and vocals. Their sound is a rich mix of warm inviting tones and dark ambient sounds. The band originates from Australia with siblings Shannon and Clancy who now reside in Beijing, China where they met Scott from the United States. Currently busy playing around local Beijing bars, their soothing sounds and catchy lines are a treat for your ears. You'll be asking for more!
Second show at 10.00 pm - The Beijing Beatles - The Fab Four – Beijing Beatles. They recreate the sound of the 60s and will play all you favorite tunes! Beijing Beatles cover more that 20 songs of the biggest and most famous British Pop Rock band of music history. They will make you dance and sing along to the Let it be , Hey Jude and many others. Come to experience something of what it must have been to be at a real Beatles show!

Fête de laMusique (夏至音乐日)是法国最棒的音乐活动之一。从1982年开始，已经变成了一个法国人热爱的传统。在每年的6月21日，法国所有城市都有免费的音乐活动，在大街上，在公园，在酒吧. 如今，夏至音乐日已经延至伸到世界上超过110个国家的500多座城市。
在北京，我们的活动有着一样的概念，那就是在全城提供免费的演出，使观众可以发现北京多彩的乐队和超cool的音乐场地。同时我们也希望帮助优秀的音乐家，让他们在北京最好的演出现场得到更多的展示机会。
6月21日当天将会有二十多个现场演出酒吧/剧场为大家带来精彩的演出，遍布遍布鼓楼、三里屯、前门、东直门等地区。而在摩登尼斯塔又将会有怎样的精彩演出呢？我们一起来看看吧
首先登场的是 THE PLUM TREES乐队！(晚上8点）
The plum tree是一支来自于澳大利亚西海岸的乐队。主唱Shannon用美丽的声音震惊了所有人和克兰西作为bass手一直活跃在各大音乐现场。自从他们到移居中国，有个机会他们遇见史葛的布鲁斯摇滚的声音最后促成了the plum tree最后的声音。想要最high的音乐绝对可以从the plum tree的现场得到！
然后就是北京披头士乐队登场啦！（晚上10点）
为了重现20世纪60年代“披头士”的声音，北京披头士乐队将会重现几乎所有原来披头士乐队的伟大歌曲，并且穿着打扮也是正宗的“披头士”风格。北京披头士乐队使每一代的摇滚乐迷都可能体会到那些曾亲临真正的Beatles乐队音乐会现场的歌迷的兴奋之情。
