Scratching Beijing returns once again to recently renovated Modernista with an exciting theatrical evening: 'Shanghai Jam', Monologue Slam and Music Jam.
A night at the theatre inspired by arguably Shanghai's most romantic era - the 1920's - it's definitely an excuse for dress up time: Qipaos, bowler hats, boas at the ready! This specially themed night is set to inspire and will include:

A Mahjong workshop
A Monologue Slam - Original material from new and returning Scratching Beijing Artists
A Music Jam featuring Artists from local Beijing bands
A Photo Installation by Sanna Kallioiemi.
Also, featuring special guest Shanghai singer and perfomer, Miss LuLu Galore.
'Scratch night' is a concept bought from the UK, which combines performances 'sketches' by different artists all in one show. Scratching Beijing has been firmly establishing itself in the Beijing creative scene, meandering itself through different popular venues in Beijing. It is set up as a multi-disciplinary platform for creative heads to meet, experiment, and put on a show. Join the creativity in Scratching Beijing's biggest party yet!
