Our new brand event is a combination of all forms of art, handcraft, second hand, great drinks, knowledge sharing and community exchange.
So you can expect to find there the best of Beijing's jewelry makers, vintage lovers, book seekers, designers of all kinds, handcraft experts, and much more!
Together, many susprises will fill the market in the form of pop-up style performances, including dancing, improvisation, live music, video art, djing, theatre, stand up, poetry reading, etc.
And the best of all.... it's happening at night!
本月，我们十分高兴又有一个好消息告诉大家：modernista将会组织一个北京城中最特别、最有趣的活动。
我们的新活动是一个各种各样形式组成的：手工艺术品、二手市场、美酒、各种有趣资源共享和交流会。在这里，你会发现好到违反广告法的手工珠宝商人、葡萄酒发烧友、阅读狂人、各种设计师的手工艺术品、各行各业的佼佼者等……
这不仅是一个市集，更有独出心裁的表演。如即兴表演、现场音乐演出、电影艺术、音乐会、戏剧、诗歌艺术等……

This is a monthly event. The first market will be held on Thursday October 15th, from 6 pm to 2 am.
这将会是一个一个月举办一次的活动。
第一次活动将会在10月15日晚上6点－凌晨2点举行。
WHERE? / 地点？
For this special event, Modernista will open mostly all it's spaces!
Both the Art Deco Main Hall and the Balcony will shelter all the vintage and second hand sellers, together with the different performance showcases, while the Japanese space will be there for all handmade and craft. In the second floor, the Absinthe Bar and our little Summer Room will be spaces kept exclusively for workshops and photo shooting.
为了这个活动，我们将会开放几乎所有的地方给大家。
整个鸡尾酒吧一楼和二楼都会成为古着、二手市场的摊位。同时伴有各种各样的演出。日式居酒屋一带将会为大家提供所有的手工商人摊位，同时苦艾吧和我们的夏宫房将会独立为大家开放为工作坊和拍摄场地。
PERFORMANCE SHOW CASE / 各类演出：
Do you want to get special exposure on your art, or promote your upcoming show by participating with a free pop-up performance?
We offer you the chance of showcasing your group in our beautiful space with a performance of maximum 15 minutes during any moment of our night market, and we will promote every participants in advance through our platforms.
All kinds of performances are welcomed, including dancing, live music, djing, stand up, theatre, improv, creative talking, short lectures, poetry reading, live painting, photo taking or anything that comes to your mind!
Tell us in advance in order to better arrange your performance or just come by and surprise us!

We welcome in our market all kind of visual art, including painting, photography, drawing, video art, etc. Our main hall and balcony will be open to suggestions for expositions, and those who are willing to interact with the public in one or another way, or want put their art on sell, are welcome to participate.

WORKSHOPS 教学创作室
Modernista night market will also be encouranging knowledge exchange through different workshops. From one to two hours long, this themed capsules will open your eyes to all forms of different arts by the most interesting experts in the city!
From vintage hairdos and make up to bellydance, from jewelry making to felt art work, from photography to creative writing, table games and mixology, we propose an endless list of things to get engaged on! Because you never know where you will find your life passion!
我们的夜市也鼓励大家通过不同类型的教学创作室让大家学习不同的知识。通过1-2小时的时候，让这个城市里最有趣的各行各业的佼佼者通过教学的方式，开阔大家的眼界。从复古的发型、化妆课到迷人的肚皮舞；从珠宝首饰到艺术作品；从摄影到文学创作；从桌游到调酒艺术，我们的有趣没有上限、没有最好，只有更棒。

We also want to support the city's rich pool of creative minds and hands with a special space for those who want to sell all kind of handmade things and craft arts. Expect unique, beautifully arranged and cared for clothing and accessories, pottery, paperworks, and all kinds of decorative and daily use objects.
作为城中最有创意的酒吧之一，我们当然也要支持这个城市里那些丰富多才的创意头脑和巧夺天工的手工艺术：为那些美丽、有趣的手工艺术品提供特殊的售卖平台，让它们能遇到属于自己、爱惜自己的知音人。
VINTAGE AND FLEA MARKET / 古董珍藏及跳蚤市场
Finally, as Modernista famously celebrates everything old, that magic of things passing from one hand to another along time, we are keeping a very special section for vintage and second hand.
Spend hours searching among dozens of old books, catch a glimpse of an amazing dress among piles of other clothes, and get one more time that feeling that there was something waiting for you somewhere all the way long.
Both vintage and second hand items are highly welcomed in our tables. Brand vintage all those items made before 1995, that is, those having at least 20 years of history, while the rest falls on second hand type.
我们的老顾客都知道，Modernista非常擅长关于时间的魔法。我们热爱那些旧时光，古董玩意儿。所以这一部分对我们来说，非常特别。
花上几个小时在那些古董书籍中寻找属于自己的那份趣味，意外淘到惊艳眼球的古着服饰。这不仅是一场买卖，更是一种感觉，感觉好像命中注定一样，它就在这里等着你的到来，带它回家感受那份来自旧时光的味道。
在我们这里，无论是复古的、还是单纯的二手产品，都是无任欢迎的。也请各位注意，古董珍藏应该是产自1995年之前，至少有20年历史味道的产品，在此标准之外的，都会归类到二手产品中。
