This Sunday, March 6th, come over at 8.30 pm to witness the most authentic and unusual of all flamenco performances in China!

For the very first time, admired guitar master ALBERTO CUELLAR will be joined by this incredible trio featuring some of the best musicians Spain now.

Cantaor Jesus Navas Valverde will be putting on his magic on Tuba and Cajon, while Diego Rodrigo Calvo will show his on Oboe. On his side, master Pedro Rodriguez Andres will  be presenting to Beijing's audiences his very special instrument, the Euphonium.

You better bring your cameras because we expect this to be a really unique show that will be hard to grasp a second time!

About Alberto Cuéllar

He stated palying guitar under the influence of his family's rich musical history, dating back to the  XIX century. Through his great grandfather's deep flamenco heritage,and specially his grandfather Pepe Cuéllar also known as “Hijo de Salvador”, who was awarded the first price for guitar at the first Competition of Cante Jondo in 1922 organized by Manuel de Falla and Federico García Lorca, among others.

Since 2008 Alberto Cuellar is living in China and have been extensively playing his Spanish Guitar as a soloist, in ensemble and with flamenco dancers in concerts through Asia like China, Japan, Thailand......

阿尔贝多 ·古埃亚（Alberto Cuellar），西班牙格拉纳达人。他来自于一个起源于19世纪末的吉他世家。

Alberto 作为一名演奏家在很多地方都进行过演出，例如：西班牙国内有格拉纳达、塞维利亚、Jaen,马德里,巴塞罗那,圣•赛巴斯蒂安,马拉加…西班牙外像英国伦敦剑桥、美国圣地亚哥、法国圣胡安德路,日本东京、泰国普吉岛…2004年在西班牙和Presjoven管弦乐队做巡回演出，演出曲目" Fantasia para un Gentilhombre" ，由Joaquin Rodrigo 作曲。其中很多城市包括：Cordoba的Almodovar 城堡，坦纳利佛音乐厅（Auditorio de Tenerife）----为世界音乐教育大会（ International Society of Musical Education Congress）做开场演出。

About Jesus Navas Valverde

Jesus Navas Valverde, Tuba y Cajon Flamenco y Cante

Born April 19, 1984 in Nerja (Spain). Jesus began his musical career at the age of 6, studying piano under Professor Ana Fernandez Villaran Rezola. Itwas not until the age of 11 that he found his true musical calling, playing the tuba with Banda Municipal de Musica de Nerja  under José Pedro Almendro del Pino.

Motivated by his musical interests, Jesus has taken classes from different distinguished teachers internationally, such as Michael Lind, Mel Culbertson, Shendrik Jan Renes, Vicente López, Sergio Fincas, Bastien Baumet, Vicente Castello, David Llacer, Sergio Rey, Javi Castaño, Josep Burgera,  HYPERLINK "https://www.facebook.com/euphtom?fref=nf" Thomas Rüedi, Wally Stormont and Mike Forbes . 

Jesus is membership of Asociación Española de Tubas Y Bombardino, Spain, and International Tuba-Euphonium Association.

ABOUT DIEGO RODRIGO CALVO 

Born and raised in Soria (Spain), Mr. Rodrigo began his musical studies at the“Conservatorio Profesional de Música Oreste Camarca" in Soria, Spain, in 1994.Diego performed like a soloist with different ensemble since graduating. Theseinclude: “Banda Municipal de Música de Soria” Spain, “Bach Orchester Freiburg”,Freiburg in Breisgau, Germany, "Orquesta Sinfónica de la Rioja", Logroño, Spain,"Orquesta Filarmonía", Madrid, Spain, "Orquesta Clásica de España", Madrid, Spain.Mr. Rodrigo take part also in “Sexteto Cluster”, a chamber music ensemble, winner of “Concurso Internacional de Música de Cámara de Manresa” in the year 2008, in Barcelona, Spain. Starting in December 2015, Diego joined the “Dunshan Symphonic Wind Orchestra”, in Beijing, China, as Principal Oboe.

ABOUT PEDRO RODRIGUEZ ANDRES

PEDRO RODRIGUEZ ANDRES is part of a new generation of musicians who are fusing the classical tradition with new languages. Pedro is passionate about expanding the repertoire for his instrument, the euphonium, and he has a great interest in combining music with different artistic  disciplines such as dance and painting, among others. The objective of this young musician is go beyond his discipline, offering the public asensory experience that goes beyond the traditional concert experience.
