Nathaniel Gao 高太行
Nathaniel Gao is a saxophonist and composer who has been based in Beijing since 2006. He has been a key contributor to the local jazz scene as both a co-leader of the quintet Red Hand as well as a leader of his own quartet and trio. Additionally, Gao has been active in an eclectic range of other musical projects including Three Sergeants Syndrome, The Beijing City Big Band, Afrokoko Roots and Bu Yiding. He has performed at the Ninegates Jazz Festival, the MIDI Jazz Festival, the Ditan Park Music Festival, the Chongqing Jazz Festival, Jarasum International Jazz Festival and at major venues in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu. Gao graduated from UNI in 2006 with BA in music performance and in 2011 completed an MA in jazz performance at the City College of New York.
高太行,2006年以来活跃在北京爵士音乐界的的萨克斯演奏家和作曲家。作为“红手”五重奏乐队的成员之一和他自 己的四重奏和三重奏乐队的主导者,他为北京爵士音乐做出了重要贡献。此外,他还积极参与了其他风格和流派的 音乐活动,包括“Three Sergeants Syndrome”,“北京城市大乐队”,Afrokoko Roots 和 “不一定” 等音乐团体。他参 与了“九门音乐节”, “迷笛爵士节”, “地坛音乐节”, "重庆爵士节","海龟岛国际音乐节"以及北京, 上海, 广州和成都等多 地的演出活动。高太行于2006年获得美国北艾奥瓦大学音乐表演学士学位,于2011年获得纽约城市学院爵士演奏硕 士学位。
Dan Callaghan
Dan Callaghan is one of Ireland's finest double bass players. He has been working as a professional musician for the last six years and has performed and recorded with many of Ireland's leading jazz musicians including Leopoldo Osio, Dig a Little Deeper, Guiliano Nistri, Mike Nielson, Hugh Buckley and Richie Buckley. Dan graduated with an Honours BA in Jazz Performance from Newpark Music Centre，Ireland in 2010.
Dan has been working professionally in Beijing, China since early 2013 and has fast become one of the hardest working bassist in Beijing
来自爱尔兰都柏林的一位杰出的贝司演奏家。在过去的六年间，Dan一直作为一名职业音乐家在各地演出，并且与数名爱尔兰顶尖爵士乐手合作过，他们分别为Mike Nielson ，Hugh Buckley 和 Richie Buckley. Dan于2010年毕业于new park音乐中心爵士表演专业，2013年从爱尔兰来中国，在中国他跟很多大师爵士家演出，他们分别为长号大师Robin Eubanks,钢琴大师Alessandro Galati , 歌手Enrica Bacchia, 钢琴大师Steffan Karlson 萨克斯手 高太行， 口琴大师Laurent Maur，钢琴手Moreno Donadel，钢琴手罗宁。
Xu Zhitong 徐之曈
Xu Zhi Tong IS one of the greatest chinese yong jazz drummer. Born in 1994, to learn to play the piano at the age of four. And learn the drum from his father when he was 8 years old. As a twin of his brother Xu Zhi han, Zhi tong also learn Jazz since 15 years old. His teacher is chinese famous JAZZ DRUMMER Wu Yong Heng(beibei)In 2015, he graduate of Hochschule für Musik Würzburg with perferct score and passed first of Hochschule für Musik und Theater München!
中国爵士鼓新秀, 之瞳生于1994年,4岁学习钢琴，8岁的时候跟他的父亲学鼓, 15岁开始接触jazz音乐并师从中国著名爵士鼓演奏家武勇恒(贝贝)。在2011年17岁的他以优异的成绩考入德国维尔茨堡国立⾳乐学院 (Hochschule für Musik Würzburg)。师从美国爵士鼓演奏家 Prof. Bill Elgart和 德国爵士鼓演奏家Bastian Jütte。在2015年以满分的成绩毕业于德国维尔茨堡国立音乐学院 (Hochschule für Musik Würzburg)本科演奏学位，并以第一名的成绩考入慕尼黑国立音乐与戏剧学院 (Hochschule für Musik und Theater München)硕士演奏学位。年仅十一岁的他,在国内鼓手中最受瞩目,被赞为具有无懈可击的技术,同时具备非常成熟的音乐性,几年的留学深造更是拓宽音乐的领域与眼界,已是国内年轻鼓手的标杆人物。
Felix Schneider
Born 1990 in "Neustadt an der Weinstraße" (Germany) Felix Schneider took his first Piano Lesson from his father when he was six. Altough he started with classical piano, improvisation was always part of his musical expression. After playing in some blues/funk-bands at age 18, he discovered the world of jazz.
At age 19 he attended the "HfM Würzburg" to study Jazz-Piano. Still there he is currently doing his Master-degree getting lessons from "Prof. Tine Schneider"
