Alex Cummings is a multi instrumentalist specializing in saxophone, flute and clarinet. Since the age of 10, Alex has always used music for entertaining and serving his community. Composing and performing for his high school jazz ensembles have earned him awards such as outstanding soloist awards at the N.J.I.A.J.E. State Finals Jazz Festivals, Berklee College High School Jazz Festival Judge's Choice Soloist award in 2009, and the Maestro Award at the Washington D.C. Inaugural Music Festival in 2009.

Cummings graduated Oberlin in 2013 while studying and playing with musical legends such as Gary Bartz, Billy Hart, Jamey Haddad, Robin Eubanks, Paul Samuels and Wendal Logan while collaborating with his Oberlin colleagues touring with student-run bands around the U.S. and overseas. Alex has just finished graduate school at Aaron Copeland School of Music with a masters degree in music. He currently tours with Robin Eubanks big band and earthTone and is based in New York City.

Recently, Alex Cummings has released his first single for his band, Twilyte Axis. The single "VHS" is produced and mixed by Alex Cummings and Arnold Lee, mastered by Tom Coyne of Sterling Sounds and is available now on iTunes and Spotify.

Alex Cummings,是来自美国的一位擅长多种乐器（萨克斯，长笛，单簧管）青年演奏家。从十岁开始，音乐便已在Alex的童年生活中扮演重要的角色。高中时期，Alex所参与演奏和作曲的爵士乐队另他获得不少荣誉奖项，包括N.J.I.A.J.E. State Finals爵士音乐节杰出独奏奖；2009年伯克利学院高中部爵士节评委会选出的最佳独奏奖，及同年在华盛顿哥伦比亚特区的Inaugural音乐节中获得“大师奖”（Maestro Award）。

Alex于2013年毕业于美国知名音乐学府欧柏林音乐学院，师从多位大师级音乐家：Gary Bartz,Billy Hart,Jamey Haddad,Robin Eubanks,Paul Samuels,Wendal Logan.并在校期间与学生乐队在美国国内外巡演。Alex于2015年毕业于纽约艾伦科普兰音乐学院，获得硕士学位，并近期与长号演奏家Robin Eubanks的爵士大乐队及另一支名为EarthTone的乐队参与美国境内的巡演。

Alex自己所领导的一支名为Twilyte Axis的带有四支萨克斯与节奏组的乐队近期也官方发布了第一支单曲“VHS”，由Alex本人与Arnold Lee，Tom Coyne一齐制作，并已在iTunes及Spotify上线。
