ABOUT THE ARTIST
Erin Luce comes from Oregon, USA where she majored in classical saxophone and earned degrees in music and education, and has taught music in international schools in Beijing since 2011. Erin has performed as a saxophonist, guitarist, and vocalist with many well-known Beijing bands, frequenting popular music venues, corporate events, festivals, and charity balls. She’s hosted open mics and karaoke nights, and has played in the pit band for musical theater productions of Little Shop of Horrors (May 2023) and The Drowsy Chaperone (coming May 2024). As a songwriter, Erin’s original music is intelligently simple with a focus on catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics, and is inspired by meaningful moments and important people in her life.
Erin Luce来自美国俄勒冈州，在那里她主修古典萨克斯，并获得音乐和教育学位。自2011年以来，她一直在北京的国际学校教授音乐。Erin曾作为萨克斯手、吉他手和歌手与许多知名北京乐队一起演出，在热门音乐场所、企业活动、节日庆典以及慈善舞会上频繁露面。她还主持过开放麦和卡拉OK之夜，并且在音乐剧《恐怖小店》（2023年5月）和即将上演的《昏昏欲睡的伴娘》（2024年5月）的伴奏乐队中演奏。作为一名歌曲创作者，她的原创音乐智慧而简约，专注于朗朗上口的旋律和发自内心的歌词，并且受到她生活中意义深远的时刻和重要人物的启发。
