We're excited to support this student-led initiative to showcase talented young musicians. The bands are ready and rehearsals are underway for an unforgettable musical showdown! 11 top high school bands from Beijing's international schools are set to compete in a sold-out event (no tickets at the door) to be named the city's best.
This event also supports Our Learning House, a Chaoyang District nonprofit aiding physically disabled orphans and disadvantaged children, with over RMB 10,000 already raised through ticket sales. Additional funds will be collected through merchandise sales and donations. Don’t miss this celebration of the new generation's rising talent.
我们很高兴能够支持这个学生主导的倡议，来展示这座城市的年轻音乐才华。乐队已经准备就绪，彩排正在进行中，一场难忘的音乐对决即将上演！来自北京各个国际学校的11支最佳高中乐队，即将同台竞技，争夺京城顶尖乐队的称号。（请注意票已售罄，活动当天将不会出售现场票）。此活动还支持朝阳区的非营利组织——Our Learning House，该组织帮助身体残疾的孤儿和弱势儿童，通过门票销售已筹集超过人民币10,000元。此外，还将通过商品销售和捐款继续筹集资金。新一代才俊和音乐创新即将冉冉升起。

Somninote
Keystone Academy
Somninote is a band formed in 2021 from Keystone Academy. Previously (hilariously) known as "Bunny Girl", we are an indie rock band that draws inspiration from Mandorock bands such as No Party For Cao Dong, deca joins, and various other artists.
Somninote 是一支成立于2021年的乐队，来自Keystone Academy。之前（颇具幽默感地）被称为“Bunny Girl”，我们是一支独立摇滚乐队，受到Mandorock乐队如草东没有派对（No Party For Cao Dong）、deca joins 以及其他多位艺术家的启发。

Carterfly is a band from the International School of Beijing. They like heavy metal but they can‘t afford 7-string guitars and double pedals.

Detention
BDA School of the High School Affiliated to Renmin University, Int'l Dept
Detention grew out of the after-school music club when a teacher brought his musical instruments to school. Despite the band’s name, all bandmates are excellent students and are in detention by choice.

NEDOBAND
Russian Embassy Middle School in Beijing
NEDOBAND is a young Russian rock band formed in Beijing in 2023. What’s interesting about our name is that it is formed from the Russian prefix "nedo" (which literally means “something incomplete, undone”) and the word “band” itself. However, we fully invest ourselves in performances.
NEDOBAND 是一支年轻的俄罗斯摇滚乐队，成立于2023年北京。关于乐队名字的有趣之处在于，它由俄语前缀“nedo”（字面意思是“不完整的，未完成的”）和“band”这个词组合而成。然而，他们会在表演中全力以赴。

Rooftop Odyssey
Western Academy of Beijing (WAB)
Rooftop Odyssey arose from an impromptu performance by two friends, which had no plan nor a unified time signature, but which nonetheless worked out.
