孙凯：萨克斯风

Kevin Sun (b. 1991) is a saxophonist, improvisor-composer, and blogger. Currently based out of New York City, he performs frequently with Great On Paper (GOP), a quartet with pianist Isaac Wilson, bassist Simón Willson, and drummer Robin Baytas, which finished its début album in February 2016 on Endectomorph Music. 

Winner of the 2013 Vandoren Emerging Artist Competition and 2012 Yamaha Young Performing Artists Competition, Sun has performed internationally at venues in New York (The Jazz Gallery, Smalls Jazz Club, ShapeShifter Lab), Beijing (East Shore), Paris (Sunside Jazz Club), Panama (Danilo’s Jazz Club), and Kolkata, India. 

Sun is also an active contributor to Jazz Speaks, the official blog of The Jazz Gallery, a not-for-profit jazz cultural center in New York City. He served as the blog’seditor-in-chief from July 2013 to Dec 2014 and has conducted interviews with artists such as Herbie Hancock and Joshua Redman. Sun’s own blog on jazz and miscellanea, A Horizontal Search (www.thekevinsun.com) has received recognition from National Public Radio’s A Blog Supreme and Ethan Iverson’s Do the Math. 

Sun holds an M.M. in Jazz Performance from The New England Conservatory of Music and an A.B. from Harvard College, where he graduated summa cum laude. He is the first-ever jazz saxophone to graduate from the five-year Harvard-NEC Dual Degree program, where he studied principally with Miguel Zenón. 

He served as a Teaching Assistant to Professor Vijay Iyer at Harvard University in the spring of 2016.

MARK BAI (Keyboard)

Jazz pianist and composer Mark Bai is at the forefront of a new wave of musicians contributing to China's emerging jazz scene.

While Mark was working on his undergraduate degree in composition at the Nanjing University of Arts, he studied with renowned Canadian pianist David Braid. In 2005 after his graduation, Mark moved to Shanghai and soon became an integral part of the jazz scene, going on to perform and record with trumpet player Li Xiao Chun, singer Teresa Lee, and many others.  He performs regularly at JZ festival in Shanghai and joined Finnish trumpet player Verneri Pohjola for a European tour in 2010. He is also the first Chinese jazz pianist who was invited for a personal jazz piano master class at the national conservatory of music in Europe (2010, Helsinki Music Academy).

白天 爵士钢琴家／作曲家

站在中国当代爵士乐发展的最前沿，作为中国当代最重要，最具影响力的爵士音乐家之一，白天已经得到了来自像Bob Mintzer, Billy Childs等一系列老一辈国际爵士乐名家的充分肯定与合作。其中更是凭借于2012年创作的代表性作品：《为当代爵士钢琴独奏而作的四部组曲》及其精湛演绎，有幸获得了久负盛名的纽约卡内基音乐厅2010至2011年度“Richard and Babara Debs Composer’s Chair”理查德与芭芭拉.德布斯作曲家交椅之主席，世界当代爵士钢琴宗师Brad Mehldau先生的高度评价和赞誉。

白天早年师从于两届Juno音乐爵士大奖得主，多伦多大学音乐学院教授，加拿大著名爵士钢琴家David Braid先生。自2005年移居上海后，凭借与芬兰国宝级爵士小号家Verneri Pohjola 先生在2009年爵士上海国际音乐节上的首次精彩合作，于次年受邀前往赫尔辛基担任其年度大碟的钢琴录制，同时在西贝柳斯音乐学院开设大师班讲解现代爵士钢琴，成为首位受邀在欧洲国立音乐学院校讲学的中国本土当代爵士钢琴家。2011年被杭州国际爵士节主办方评选为当代中国五大最杰出爵士钢琴家之一，并受邀在杭州大剧院联袂演出了新年爵士钢琴独奏音乐会，反响空前。2014年起受邀于母校南京艺术大学并执教流行音乐学院，主授爵士钢琴专业。2015年9月，与中国爵士小号家李晓川作为当代中国爵士乐坛代表并被邀请同赴著名的卢森堡音乐节并成功举行了专场音乐会。
