MORE ABOUT
Beijing based, American Jazz Tenor Saxophonist, Teacher, and Composer; Joe Longardner is a Kim's Korea Saxophone Endorser and owns his own company of saxophone products called JSL. He has guest taught Jazz Master Classes at numerous schools and universities including Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou, China and HanYang University in Korea. Joe has performed in Asia’s top Jazz Clubs including The Blue Note in Beijing, Once in Blue Moon and Evans in Korea, JZ Club in Shanghai and many other clubs throughout Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia. Joe also annually performs in a few European and Asian Jazz Festivals. He has an Undergraduate degree in Jazz from Butler University and a Masters Degree in Jazz Studies from the University of South Florida, both in the United States. Joe also studied composition at the Escuela de Musica Creativa in Madrid, Spain. Joe is a former Music Director for Carnival Cruise Lines where he worked for 7 years while he attended university. Joe's current musical project is called "The Canton Project" and will be recording his first CD later this year.
