This is our favorite Beijing month and we are going to enjoy it as much as we can! We start April with a lot of specials for the Qing Ming Holiday, and we close it with yet another short holiday batch to mark the upcoming Worker's Day on May 1st. In between, everything you can think of is happening at Modernista this time!
Mid month, expect lots of people again to cheer for PARAKEET on FRI 13th, and MADEMOISELLE on SAT 14th, Beijing's only Pink Floyd fan band PEKING FLOYD on FRI 20th, as well as Canadian EMBER SWIFT on SAT 21st.
As for the last weekend of the month, it will be also a pretty intense one, starting with jazz on THU 26TH as Satoshi Kataoka visits our stage, and moving fast towards a party mood with THE UIGHUR SAMA BAND on FRI 27TH, student favorites THE BASEMENT on SAT 28TH and eclectic newcomers LE RAFIOT playing along GREAT BUFFALO BLUES on SUN 29TH.
As we keep the events going for a long weekend due to the MAY 1ST HOLIDAY, those who keep missing our Monday fun because they work on Tuesday morning have a chance to see how SAVOR LATINO tastes like on April 30th. Don't miss our big big LATIN PARTY and our all night long mojito happy hour that night.
And to cool down a bit things before going back to the weekly routine, relax with a last little pretty gift from us on TUE MAY 1ST in the shape of jazz, as we welcome for the first time VICTOR BASTIDAS and his Latin Jazz project on stage.
